Major Award in Motor Vehicle Negligence Case

Between January 30, 2012 and February 2, 2012, the firm's Managing Partner Phillip Wiskow tried a motor vehicle negligence case in Paterson.  Prior to trial, the plaintiff demanded $75,000 to settle her case.  The insurance company, Geico, offered $35,000.  An independent arbitrator recommended a $48,000 settlement. After deliberating for one hour and fifteen minutes, eight Passaic County jurors awarded the firm's client $425,000.
