David L. Kowzun
David is a proud graduate of Rutgers University, Livingston College, with Bachelors of Science Degrees in Finance and Political Science.
After graduating from college, David worked a few years and then attended Rutgers Law School in Camden, graduating in 1997. Upon graduating, David was selected to clerk for the Honorable Lorraine C. Parker in Sussex County, who was eventually elevated to the Appellate Division. David clerked for Judge Parker in 1997-1998.
After completing his clerkship, David began private practice with the Plaintiff’s law firm of Goldstein, Ballen, O’Rourke & Wildstein. While there, he focused on all areas of personal injury trial practice including automobile negligence, premise liability and products liability.
In the Spring of 2015, David joined the trial firm of Gelman Gelman Wiskow & McCarthy, LLC as a Senior Trial Associate. David handles all aspects of each case he handles, with the assistance of a legal assistant and a paralegal, from the initial meeting with the client through trial. In his career, David has successfully tried many jury trials and he has settled in excess of five hundred cases in his career.
David is an avid sportsman who loves to target shoot, ski and hike. He also brews his own beer and loves to drink his own beer after a successful trial.
